Festival do Maio (6.ª edição)

The 6th edition of Festival do Maio returns to Seixal on May 30 and 31, 2025, transforming the Parque Urbano do Seixal into a vibrant hub of music, culture, and social awareness. This year’s festival features a diverse lineup of national and international artists, celebrating themes of freedom and cultural diversity.

Program Highlights:

• May 30 (Friday): A night dedicated to Portuguese rock, featuring Xutos & Pontapés celebrating the 40th anniversary of their album Cerco, alongside performances by Mão Morta and Linda Martini.

• May 31 (Saturday): An evening showcasing global sounds with performances by Capicua, Seun Kuti & Egypt 80, and Criolo.

In addition to the concerts, the festival includes O Poema é uma Arma, a series of videopoems presented between performances, emphasizing the power of words in artistic expression.
